Our Design Process

We need to know:

  • what the company does
  • how many people are employed
  • what are the unique selling points
  • who are the main competitors
  • who is the target audience
  • how do you intend on being found
  • what marketing literature will be needed
  • do you have any colour preferences
  • do you have any ideas you would like us try

Is there an existing brand, if so;

  • how well known is the existing identity
  • are there elements of the existing brand which need to remain
  • what do you hope to achieve from the re-brand
  • are there partner companies that have to remain associated

Every job is different therefore the approach to gaining this information varies. Sometimes a five minute telephone conversation is adequate other times it's necessary to gather together the company directors around a board room table.

The design process starts by producing between 5 and 10 initial ideas. Several different styles will be included within this first stage. The ideas will be forwarded in pdf format via email. We will talk you through the ideas and hope to get some feedback from you.

Based on your feedback we will proceed to continue developing the ideas until a solution has been agreed upon. Once an idea has been chosen we begin tweaking the design by fine tuning the artwork.

Final logo files will be supplied in various formats for future use. These include web jpg, high resolution jpg and vector eps. Colours will be setup in either pantone or cmyk depending upon the chosen method of printing.
